Color Changing Milk

Another fun thing to do by yourself or with a friend is to make color changing milk. Here's how:

Things you will need:

• milk (whole or 2%)
• dinner plate
• food coloring ( any color)
• dish washing soap (dawn works best)
• cotton swabs

Step 1:  Pour enough milk to completely cover the bottom of the dinner plate

Step 2: Add one drop of the four colors of die to the milk. Make sure to put them close but not touching the other colors. Now take a cotton swab and stick it in the middle of all the colors.

Step 3:  Now on a new cotton swab add a drop of dish soap and stick it in the middle of the milk. Leave it there for 10-15 seconds. Look at the burst of color! It looks like Fourth of July in a plate of milk. You can
also move it to the side or anywhere you want.
